The Journey

In March of 2018 my whole life was thrown into a whirlwind when I was told, at 20 weeks pregnant, that I had Stage 2B Melanoma after getting a mole I found on my chest scraped. At 22 weeks I had surgery to excise the margins of the area, as well as having lymph nodes removed from under both arms to be tested. I was given a wonderful result and deemed cancer free. Fast forward to February 2020, after finding a lump in my right breast, I have been diagnosed with metastatic Melanoma. It’s back, but I’m ready and not giving up without a fight!
